Run more! Move more! Unlock the potential of your body and legs!! It was supposed to be a one-off, but thanks to the great response we’re now in year three. “How to use your body and legs” has scaled up even further!! Running is the foundation of all sports. Why not enrich your running life through new knowledge and experiences? It’s a valuable opportunity open to everyone, from beginners to experienced runners—please consider joining! ●Shuttle Run TURN &GO For many participants, this will likely be their first shuttle run. It used to be the endurance run (boys: 1500 m, girls: 1000 m); since 1999 it has been adopted as a sports test event. More than just a fitness measurement, the shuttle run lets you know “how far you can run” and “how long you can hold on”—your current “running ability” (aerobic endurance). Rules: ・While the beep is sounding, run 20 m. ・When the next beep starts, turn back and run 20 m again. Repeat. ・As the laps add up, the interval between beeps gets shorter. ・It ends when you stop because you can’t keep up with the speed, or when you fail to make the interval twice in a row. ・It continues until only one person remains—just the kind of program the Iwaki Try Trail crowd will love. From the number of shuttles, you can estimate your maximal oxygen uptake (VO2max). Use it to understand your aerobic endurance, or to challenge the top runners of Iwaki Try Trail— by all means, TURN & GO!! ●Running shoes try-on Until last time, try-ons were held with only asics shoes, but thanks to the great support of Super Sports XEBIO Iwaki Store, this time you can try on the latest running shoes from multiple brands. ・asics METASPEED EDGE METASPEED SKY SUPERBLAST3 ・adidas EVOSL WVN SUPERNOVA RIZE3 ・On Cloudmonster 3 ・NIKE PEGASUS42 ・New Balance 1080 v15 ・HOKA MACH 7 More brands under consideration. This is insane—this lineup for a 500-yen entry fee. And you can even run inside 21st Century Forest Park wearing the shoes! What’s more, you’ll receive a 10% off coupon usable at Super Sports XEBIO Iwaki Store as a participation perk! Find your perfect partner for the autumn/winter races. ●Rhythm training Back by popular demand: a rhythm training session led by Instructor Ito from L.A.P Co., Ltd./STAR Academy Iwaki. Rhythm training is a new-sensation workout where you move your body to music. It’s fun, improves athletic ability, and has proven benefits for injury prevention. It’s implemented and practiced by everyone from kindergarteners to professional athletes. When you try it, you’ll find it tricky yet fun as your body tries to catch up with your head. Please give it a try!! ※Only rhythm training has a participant limit. Two 45-minute slots are planned, 70 people per slot. We will ask for your participation preference at on-the-day reception. ● PNF Stretch Following the previous event, H&K, the go-to body care specialty shop for Iwaki Tri-Trail members, will offer PNF stretch sessions. PNF stretching is a method that enhances neuromuscular function. It helps improve strength, flexibility, and joint range of motion to optimize your body condition. On the day, you can try a 15-minute session for 500 yen (normally 30 minutes for 3,300 yen, tax included). Last time, reservations filled up quickly for the entire event. If you’ve been curious, you should definitely get a session. ● ReaLine Pelvic Alignment, Stretch Pole Using the ReaLine Core to correct pelvic asymmetry and torsion supports building a body that runs more easily. Pelvic alignment stabilizes posture and makes it easier to engage your core. Sitting posture and daily habits can tilt the pelvis forward or backward, disrupting whole-body alignment. Aligning the pelvis with the ReaLine Core makes your standing posture look neater and lightens lower-body movement. Also, gently reset whole-body imbalances using the Stretch Pole. By relaxing the spine and chest and refining the ”whole-body connection”, you can feel the difference even in a short time. Personal care that’s hard to take the first step on can be tried for 15 minutes at 500 yen on the day. Highly recommended for those concerned about running form and for women mindful of posture or body shape. ● Analog Lab. (Fukushima City) Merchandise Booth Analog Lab. is an outdoor lifestyle goods shop with a store in Minamiyanome, Fukushima City. From camping and outdoor play gear to mountaineering and trail running, they carry items that blend naturally into everyday life—their charm is to “not make the outdoors something special”. The shop’s emphasis on an analog, tactile feel is comforting; even a casual drop-in lifts your mood and sparks your senses. They’ve had offers to vend at events before, but chose 「カラダとアシの使い方」 as their commemorative “first event appearance”. Not just convenience—the joy of taking the time. A sense of connection with nature. Analog Lab. has items and an atmosphere that remind you of that excitement. Just looking is fun. “I want this.” “I want to visit the shop, too.” It’s a wonderful shop—and shop manager—that naturally evoke those feelings. ● Food Trucks porco(ポルコ) Lured by the toasty, mouthwatering aroma, you’ll find yourself lining up before you know it. The must-try meat-lover’s food truck, porco, is coming! It’s the event organizer’s favorite food truck (they love the pork bowl with numbing Sichuan pepper). The punchy, delicious pork bowl will instantly boost your event satisfaction. It’s also perfect as a “recovery meal after moving your body”. crepe(クレペ) The crepe food truck, crepe, that gently wraps you in a sweet aroma, is coming! Like porco introduced above, they are a very popular crepe shop in the city. Fluffy, chewy batter with lightly sweet, airy whipped cream. It offers a “cake-like satisfaction”, yet you can polish it off to the very last bite. Its cute appearance is outstanding—you’ll want to snap a photo. Perfect for a “sweet bite” after giving it your all. ※As a participation prize, you can get a 100-yen off coupon usable at either porco or crepe, so be sure to give it a try!

The poet Kusano Shinpei (1903–1988) was deeply moved by the people and nature of Kawauchi Village in Futaba District and visited Kawauchi almost every year. Kawauchi Village conferred on Shinpei the title of Honorary Village Resident, and later, prompted by his donation of 3,000 volumes to the village, the Tenzan Bunko was built in the village to house his collection. This exhibition, marking the 60th anniversary of the Tenzan Bunko’s establishment, presents Shinpei’s ties with Kawauchi Village and works related to the village.
